Cabot Tower is a standing structure at the top of Brandon Hill that provides panoramic views of the city. The tower was built in 1897 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot’s voyage to North America from the city.
The tower, which stands 105 feet tall, can be seen from the bottom of the hill and is a short climb from there. Brandon Hill Park is also a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a picnic with friends and family.

They have a variety of tropical fish from around the world as well as fish native to the UK. The aquarium also has a massive botanical house known as the urban jungle, which houses hundreds of exotic plant and tree species from all over the world.
- SS Great Britain-
The SS Great Britain is without a doubt one of the best tourist attractions in Bristol, providing entertainment and interaction for visitors of all ages. With narrators dressed in period costumes and various conservation workshops, the reconstructed steamboat tells the story of Brunel’s wonderful invention.
Visitors are also given a tour of the engine room, where they can see the moving distance, loud noise, and massive structure. On this tour, you can also see first-class passenger cabins and sample freshly baked bread from the kitchen.
