Ingredients-Chicken Vindaloo

For Marination

  1. Red Chillies(Soaked in Vinegar)-One Cup
  2. Black Peppercorns-Half Teaspoon
  3. Coriander Powder-Half Teaspoon
  4. Cumin Seeds-Half Teaspoon
  5. Cinnamon Sticks-Half Teaspoon
  6. Chopped Ginger-Half Teaspoon
  7. Garlic Cloves-Two-Three Pieces 
  8. Vinegar-One Teaspoon
  9. Chicken-750 Grams 

For Gravy

  1. Ghee(Clarified Butter)-One Teaspoon
  2. Oil-One Teaspoon
  3. Medium Onion Chopped-One Piece 
  4. Coriander-Garnish
  5. Curd-Garnish

How to prepare Chicken Vindaloo

  1. To make the paste, add all the ingredients and blend them smooth. Now marinate the chicken and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté for a minute, then add the marinated chicken and cook until moisture releases.
  3. Add water accordingly and cook through.
  4. Garnish it with a coriander sprig and beaten curd.
  5. Serve hot with roti or rice.
