Masala Oats cooked in the Indian style. This can be served alone without any accompaniment but is best with chutney or raita .This culinary creations is healthier and better.

Ingredients-Masala Oat

  1. Oats- One and Half Cup 
  2. Chopped Carrots-One Cup 
  3. Peas-One Cup 
  4. Chopped Green Beans-One Cup 
  5. Chopped Onion-One Piece 
  6. Ginger Paste-One Teaspoon
  7. Garlic Paste-One Teaspoon
  8. Chopped Tomato-One Piece 
  9. Coriander Powder-One Teaspoon
  10. Turmeric Powder-One Teaspoon 
  11. Garam Masla-Half Teaspoon
  12. Red Chilli-Half Teaspoon 
  13. Salt-As per your requirement 
  14. Olive Oil-One Tablespoon
  15. 3 cups Water
  16. Lemon Juice-One Teaspoon
  17. Chopped Coriander Leaves-Two Tablespoon

How to prepare Masala Oats Recipe

  1. Roast oats until golden or they begin to smell good. Set aside.
  2. Heat a pan with oil. Add cumin and allow to crackle.
  3. Sauté ginger garlic until the raw smell goes off next, add onions and fry until they turn slightly golden or pink.
  4. Saute veggies for 2 to 3 mins. Add tomatoes, sprinkle salt and turmeric.
  5. Cook until the tomatoes turn completely mushy.
  6. Add chilli powder, garam masala or pav bhaji masala and coriander powder.
  7. Mix and fry for 2 to 3 minutes until it smells good.
  8. Add water and bring it to a boil and add oats and stir well.
  9. Cover and cook. If needed add more or less water to adjust the consistency.
  10. Add coriander leaves.
  11. Drizzle some ghee over the hot masala oats. Serve it with chutney or raita.
