Recently visited Piso16, located in Eros Corporate Tower of Nehru Place. In Spanish, Piso16 means floor 16 (yes that’s right situated on the 16th floor next to Royal China). The nearest metro station is Nehru Place (Violet Line ) which is opposite to Eros Corporate Tower Nehru Place.
They have also been ranked as “Best fine dining restaurants in Delhi” and of course with a magnificent view of South Delhi.
The restaurant is decorated up tastefully in European style, in keeping with the fact that it specialises in European cuisine and serves up food from across the European nations.
Before placing the order, we met a young Sous Chef – Tej Wardhan Saini who is the second-in-command after the Executive Chef. Chef Tej did his culinary training from Manipal University(2014 batch) and did his specialisation on Italian Cuisine.
He recommended us to taste three signature dishes, and these are as follows:-
Chicken & Olive Pinwheel (Rs. 500) – Chicken tenders stuffed with olives and topped with mustard sauce and salsa verde. These were bite-sized as described and the dish texture was smooth. The taste was sour because of the mustard and salsa verde.
Pork Belly (Rs.850) – Roasted pork belly coated with citrus and chilli glaze and served with mash potatoes. A complimentary bread basket (Focaccia & Brioche) was served along with the dish.
The pork belly was luscious, and this was among the best pork dishes we have had in Delhi.
Le Petit Antoine (Rs.550) – In French Le Petit means “The Small”, so here comes our last course of meal The Small Antoine. Le Petit Antoine is a perfect mixture of Chocolate Ganash on a bed of hazelnut. This was blissful and so soft that it is bound to melt in your mouth.
Piso 16 is one of those places which shall be on the top of your checklist. The stylish interior, magnificent view, scrumptious food and flawless service make this place one of the best fine dining restaurants in Delhi. We highly recommend all the gastronomers in Delhi to visit Piso 16.
