Haji Banda Hasan, more famously known as ‘Khan Chacha‘ came to Delhi in 1960 from district Saharanpur in Western Uttar Pradesh.

He landed up in Jama Masjid (the same year 1960). This is where he met Haji Yusuf and learnt the art of making kebabs, parantha, halwa and other traditional Mughlai food.

In the 70s, Khan Sahib as he was known then, came to Khan Market and set up a small stall in Khan Market and started selling a limited range of delicious Mughlai food. This is where he started to be known as ‘ Khan Chacha‘ to all.

The legacy of Khan Chacha is now being carried forward by his two sons Mohammad Javed & Mohammad Saleem.

The brothers – Mohammad Saleem and Mohammad Javed, post their education entered their father’s business in 1996 and 2005 and had grown it multi-fold. Besides, they have also added a wide range of delectable Mughlai fare.

Mohammad Saleem told us “Mashallah Walid Sahab ne Humey Sarey Hunar Sikha Diya” which means Thank God our father taught us all the culinary skills !! We are extremely happy that our customers are visiting us over and over again..

He further added that they have opened up “Rule the Rolls” an independent outlet in Gurugram’s DLF Galleria in March 2017. And, Mashallah, we opened our second outlet “Rule the Rolls” in Khan Market in November 2017.
